High Performance Computing (HPC) refers to the practice of aggregating computing power to achieve much higher performance than what a typical desktop computer or workstation can provide. This is done in order to solve large, complex problems in science, engineering, or business. HPC systems use clusters of powerful processors that work in parallel to process massive multi-dimensional datasets and solve intricate problems at extremely high speeds. These clusters are composed of hundreds or thousands of compute servers, often referred to as nodes, which perform calculations simultaneously, significantly boosting processing speed. HPC is used across various industries for applications such as scientific research, simulation, data analysis, and in the development of complex products and services[1][2][3][4][5][6].
